Switch in a day. Customers won't notice.
Ratings, photos, dates, verified-buyer status - all preserved. No re-collection, no gaps in social proof.
Install and start the importThe whole process, end to end.
- 1
Export from your current app
Each app has a CSV export. We've documented the exact menu path for each (table below). The export usually takes 30 seconds.
- 2
Upload to Review Tomato
Open Review Tomato -> Import. Drag the CSV into the dropzone. We detect the format automatically and show you a preview of what'll be imported.
- 3
Map fields (usually nothing to do)
For Judge.me, Loox, and Yotpo we already know the field mappings. For other apps you may need to confirm which column is the rating. Takes 30 seconds.
- 4
Import
Click Import. Reviews flow in. Photos re-upload to your Supabase Storage so they're not dependent on the old app's CDN. Done.
- 5
Switch the widget
In your theme editor, drop the Review Tomato app block where the old app's block was. Old reviews show with their original dates. Customers don't notice the change.
Coming from any of these?
We support direct imports from the six most common Shopify reviews apps. CSV from any other reviews app works too.
| App | Export path | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Judge.me | Admin -> Settings -> Export -> CSV | Photos preserved via image URLs. Verified-buyer status mapped. |
| Loox | Admin -> Reviews -> Export -> CSV with photos | Nested photo schema handled. Photo URLs re-uploaded to your storage. |
| Yotpo | Admin -> Settings -> Account -> Export reviews | All star ratings + dates preserved. Custom fields imported as tags. |
| Stamped | Admin -> Reviews -> Export | Standard CSV import. |
| Okendo | Admin -> Settings -> Data -> Export | Attribute tags imported as 'product standouts' chips. |
| Junip | Admin -> Reviews -> Export -> CSV | Direct CSV import - fastest of the bunch. |
Stuck on the import? We'll do it for you.
White-glove migration is free with the Scale plan. Email us with your store URL and which app you're leaving.
